Visualizing My Amal Experience 📸
Look at the trees around you, standing stern and strong but it was a weak feeble plant at its early ages that needs support for its development. Similarly, when I reflect back I found myself like a feeble plant that needed support for its growth.
“ Learn character from trees, values from roots and change from leaves ”
Before joining Amal Academy, I was too excited because I wanted to get engaged with like-minded people just like a plant that needs nourishment. Within two weeks I realized that Amal Academy is the right place that would help me in my growth.
My first experience of Amal Academy was when I met Ma’am Yusra in the assessment center and Ma’am Sahar in an orientation session. I liked how they were showing positive reflection and encouraging everyone to speak. Then I have my first interaction with Sir Zaki in the meetup session and Ma’am Namra in the first Amal session and believe that I am a part of the luckiest batch 174 because we have Sir Zaki and Ma’am Namra as our mentors.
My first two weeks of experience at Amal Academy
My first learning group was formed for two weeks and Allah blessed me with the best. I have Saddam Rafique, Aiman Asadi, Aisha Iqbal, and Sarfaraz as my first learning group members. Each of them was a blessing to me, because they always encouraged me, supported me, and gave critical feedback. After every session, we used to give critical feedback on performance.
My feelings at the start of the journey
My feelings at the start of the journey were like a seed that germinates and can only get strong if gets well nutrition from the land and care from the surroundings. My reason for joining Amal Academy was I need a learning environment for my development. Luckily, I am that seed which is growing rapidly into a strong tree alhamdulillah and it will keep on growing.
My learning in the first two weeks
Thanks to my learning group especially Aiman Asadi who made me realized that I am no less than others. Before joining Amal, I was in a state of inferiority complex and these people made me believe that I have my own uniqueness. I can handle difficult situations only if I don’t get nervous. My smile is my biggest strength and it should never fade away.
Discovery to Myself
A seed will only discover its actual beauty if its environment is supportive and caring else it will die soon.
While going to job I took a picture of this plant. It reminded me of myself. This plant must be thankful to the person who took its care for its beauty. Similarly, I would like to thanks Amal Academy who made me discovered my potentials. Just like the flowers in the plant, one day InshaAllah my success will spread its beauty all around.
